The purpose of the visit was to introduce the leadership to him, brief him on preparations, and formally invite him to attend the event as Special Guest of Honour.

Historic Congress

Rev. Wengam stated preparations were complete for what he described as a historic Congress. He commended President Mahama and the Government of Ghana for supporting the organisation of the event.

He explained that the change of venue for the morning conference from the Independence Square to the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre was due to technical challenges, adding that the new venue offered a more conducive environment for the programme.
