Divisional Union backs GACL management on debt recovery

The Divisional Union of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has declared its full support for Management’s efforts to recover outstanding debts owed by concessionaires and other entities.

The Union described the exercise as necessary to protect the financial stability and long-term sustainability of the Company.

Speaking on behalf of the Union, its Chairman, Mr Frank Selorm Adoboe, said workers were firmly behind Management in the recovery process. He noted that the Union would support all lawful and appropriate measures to retrieve monies owed to the Company.

Mr Adoboe emphasised that the welfare of employees must not be compromised for the benefit of any individual or group, adding that staff continued to work diligently to sustain the operations and growth of GACL.

The Union called on all concessionaires and stakeholders to honour their financial obligations promptly, warning that delays undermine the Company’s progress.

It reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with Management to safeguard the interests of both the Company and its workforce.
