Ghanaian teenager Emmanuel Abrokwa seals move to Sevilla

Spanish La Liga side Sevilla have completed the signing of highly-rated Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Abrokwa from Adabraka Elders, marking a significant milestone in the 18-year-old’s budding career.

Abrokwa has signed a contract that will keep him at the Spanish club until 2029, becoming the first Ghanaian player to join Sevilla directly from a Ghana-based club.

The promising winger joins the six-time UEFA Europa League champions as they seek to rebuild following a disappointing 2025/26 season, which saw the club finish 13th in La Liga and miss out on qualification for European competitions.

Sevilla are expected to place greater emphasis on youth development as part of their rebuilding strategy, with Abrokwa viewed as one of the exciting young talents capable of contributing to the club’s long-term plans.

The transfer was finalised after Sevilla reached an agreement with Adabraka Elders, paving the way for the Ghanaian youngster to begin his professional journey in Spanish football.

Abrokwa is represented by Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management.
