Accra Hearts of Oak SC has officially announced a major change in their technical leadership following a comprehensive review of the 2025/26 football season, confirming that the club has parted ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
The decision, made by the club’s Board, comes after an internal assessment of the team’s performance and overall direction during the just-ended season.
The club emphasised that the move is part of a broader effort to realign its football philosophy with long-term ambitions and institutional identity.
In an official statement, the club expressed appreciation to Coach Dramani and his technical staff for their service, professionalism, and commitment throughout their tenure.
“Accra Hearts of Oak SC wishes to announce that, following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 football season, the Board has decided to part ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani,” the statement read.
The club further acknowledged the achievements recorded under the outgoing technical team, noting that Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the recently concluded season.
Management praised the discipline and dedication demonstrated by Dramani and his staff during their time in charge.
“The club extends its sincere appreciation to Dramani and his staff for their professionalism, commitment, and service.
Under their guidance, Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the just-ended season, and we acknowledge the discipline and effort they brought to the technical setup,” the statement added.
The departure marks another significant moment in the ongoing restructuring of the technical department at one of Ghana’s most historic football clubs. Accra Hearts of Oak SC have in recent years undertaken several changes aimed at restoring consistency and returning the club to the summit of domestic and continental football.
As part of the transition process, the club confirmed that the first team and playing squad have currently been placed on recess. This break is expected to allow management time to evaluate the next steps in shaping the club’s technical direction ahead of the new season.
“The Board will, in due course, communicate the technical direction of the club as we continue to align our football philosophy with the long-term ambitions and identity of Accra Hearts of Oak SC,” the statement noted.
While no immediate replacement has been announced, the Board is expected to deliberate on the next head coach and technical structure in the coming weeks. The focus, according to insiders, will be on maintaining stability while also improving competitive performance in the league.
The club also took time to appreciate its supporters, acknowledging their continued loyalty and passion despite fluctuating results in recent seasons.
“We thank our cherished supporters for their loyalty and passion, and assure you that every decision taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch, with the ultimate goal of sustained domestic and continental success,” the statement concluded.
The announcement signals a new phase of rebuilding for Hearts of Oak as the club seeks to strengthen its technical setup and return to its traditional position as one of Ghana’s dominant football forces.
