Infinix, MTN partner to launch Note 60 Series

Smartphone brand Infinix Ghana has partnered Ghana’s leading telecom operator, MTN Ghana to launch the Infinix Note 60 Series in Accra.

The introduction of the  three new devices is  aimed at expanding access to high-performance but affordable smartphones while supporting Ghana’s growing digital economy.

The new devices include the Note 60 Edge, Note 60 Pro and Note 60 Ultra,  designed to deliver improved battery life, enhanced camera systems and stronger processing performance for today’s digitally connected consumers.

Speaking at the launch, Mrs. Edith Asempa, Channel and Key Account Manager at Infinix Ghana, said the new series reflects the company’s drive to blend innovation with affordability.

“The Infinix Note 60 Series inspires us to continuously improve and deliver devices that combine cutting-edge technology, stylish design, reliability and affordability. That is why today’s launch is particularly special,” she said.

According to her, the three smartphones were built to meet the growing demands of users who rely on mobile technology for work, entertainment and communication.

“We are proud to introduce three powerful devices that redefine performance. These smartphones are designed to deliver powerful battery life, advanced camera capabilities and exceptional performance to support today’s digital lifestyle,” she stated.

Mrs. Asempa also noted  the importance of the company’s collaboration with MTN, describing the partnership as key to enabling consumers to maximise their digital experiences.

“Equally important is our strategic collaboration with our trusted partner, MTN, whose commitment to connectivity continues to power the digital lives of millions of people. Together, we are creating an ecosystem where great devices meet reliable connectivity,” she added.

MTN on its part said the partnership aligns with its strategy to widen access to capable smartphones and accelerate digital inclusion.

Mrs. Abla Caesar, Manager for Devices at MTN, said expanding access to quality smartphones was both a social and economic priority.

“Affordable and capable smartphones enable meaningful participation in the digital economy. They empower youth innovation, support the growth of small businesses, increase productivity and contribute significantly to national development,” she said.

She emphasised that encouraging more customers to migrate from older mobile networks to faster connectivity remains a key objective for the telecom operator.

“As the world accelerates towards 5G and prepares for future digital ecosystems, we must also quicken the migration from 2G and 3G to 4G. When customers move to 4G, a better digital experience awaits,” she said.

To encourage adoption, MTN announced a promotional data package for buyers of the new devices.

“Every customer who purchases an Infinix Note 60 Series device and inserts an MTN SIM card will receive 2GB of free data every month for six months,” adding that the data will be automatically credited once the SIM card is inserted and recognised on the network.

She described the collaboration as more than a commercial venture.

“We are not simply selling smartphones; we are accelerating Ghana’s digital transformation and empowering customers with the right devices and connectivity,” she said.
