Former Finance Minister Seth Terkper believes John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can drastically improve Ghana within four years if given another chance in the December 7 elections.
Terkper stressed the NDC’s solid track record of building the country, claiming that their previous accomplishments speak for themselves. Speaking to journalists in Accra on Tuesday, August 27.
Mr. Terkper stated that John Dramani Mahama possesses the leadership characteristics required to improve Ghana’s situation.
He went on to emphasize the NDC’s excellent record, saying that anyone who takes the time to look at it can see it.
“The NDC’s record in office was disclosed. We can discuss any issues you are unsure about. You are aware from fiscal management that we finished the year with 6.1; disregard 9.3, 10.3, and so on. We called it out because it was untrue.
“I am saying that the manifesto is based on performance because the IMF fixed it and we showed you the deficit the debt fiscal performance.”
