FC Bayern Munich clinch 35th Bundesliga title

FC Bayern Munich sealed yet another commanding season by securing their 35th Bundesliga title, rallying from behind to defeat VfB Stuttgart 4–1 at the Allianz Arena. Although a draw would have been enough after Borussia Dortmund slipped up against Hoffenheim, Bayern made a bold statement with a convincing win.

Stuttgart briefly threatened to delay the celebrations when Chris Führich opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Bayern quickly hit back, with Raphaël Guerreiro levelling the score before Nicolas Jackson put the hosts ahead shortly after, stepping up in place of the suspended Harry Kane.

The hosts took full control before the break as Alphonso Davies finished cleverly from a tight angle. Kane then made an immediate impact off the bench in the second half, netting his 32nd league goal of the season to seal the win and reaffirm his status as the league’s top scorer. Chema Rodríguez pulled one back late for Stuttgart, but it had little impact on the outcome.

The triumph marks Bayern’s 13th league title in 14 seasons, further cementing their dominance in German football. Attention now turns to a potential treble, with crucial clashes against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on the horizon.
