President John Dramani Mahama has departed Ghana for the United Kingdom and Switzerland to attend a series of high-level meetings, including the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
The President left Accra on Sunday, January 11, 2026, with his first stop in the United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to meet coordinators of the Accra Reset Initiative to discuss proposals aligned with Ghana’s national development and reform agenda.
Following the engagements in the UK, President Mahama will travel to Davos, Switzerland, to participate in sessions of the World Economic Forum, which brings together global leaders, business executives, and policy experts to deliberate on pressing international economic issues.
On the margins of the Davos meetings, the President is also expected to hold bilateral discussions with several world leaders, aimed at strengthening Ghana’s international relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation.
