A Free SHS graduate and a government scholarship beneficiary, Thomas Amoani has obtained a First Class degree from Brunel University in London, United Kingdom (UK).
Thomas Amoani, an exceptional student who attended Adeiso, the district capital of Upper West Akim in the Eastern Region, as a beneficiary of the Free Senior High School program, accomplished a remarkable achievement by earning a First Class degree in Economics and Finance from Brunel University in London, UK.
He started his incredible career in 2020, having graduated from Adeiso SHS with an astounding 8As on the WASSCE. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo noticed Amoani’s remarkable performance, saw his potential, and intervened to get him a government scholarship.
Amoani was able to continue his studies at Brunel University, a prestigious university in the United Kingdom, thanks to the scholarship.
Amoani proved his academic mettle at Brunel by doing exceptionally well in his academics. His performance was constantly high, and in 2022 he was named the best student in economics overall.
His commitment to excellence and his unwavering work ethic allowed him to graduate with First Class Honours in Finance and Economics. Amoani’s accomplishments were acknowledged even further when he was awarded the 2023–2024 academic year’s top prize in Economics and Finance.
