Minister of Agriculture and Member of Parliament for the Abetifi Constituency, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s election fortunes will suffer if its members fail to work hard in the Eastern Region.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong said that the party must be aggressive in its campaigns to guarantee the region remains a stronghold for the party.

“If the Eastern Region doesn’t work hard, our relevance in the electoral fortunes of the NPP will diminish,” Dr. Bryan Acheampong stated.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong addressed party members in the Asuogyaman constituency, emphasizing the Eastern Region’s essential role in the NPP’s success.

He underscored the need for the area to step up its efforts in order to continue playing a key role in the party’s electoral outcomes.

His appeal for cooperation and diligence struck a deep chord with the party’s members.

In his motivational speech, Dr. Bryan Acheampong exhorted people to take on the challenge and win handily in the next general elections in 2024.

Interacting with party members is part of a larger plan to garner support in the area and make sure the party is ready for the elections.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong also praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and flagbearer of the NPP, for his outstanding work in Ghana’s northern regions.

“The people in the northern part of Ghana have been incredibly supportive of Vice President Bawumia, the Flagbearer, as he works very hard,” he emphasized.

According to him, the comparison was meant to spur the Eastern Region to equal or surpass the efforts.

In addition to meeting the voting Station Coordination Team (PSCT) of 40 voting stations in Zone A at Anum, the party paid a courtesy call to the Akwamumanhene at Akwamufie.

The Anumhene’s Palace received a courtesy call from Dr. Bryan Acheampong. He met at Akosombo, Moninger Presby Church, with the PSCT of 104 polling places in Zone B.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong visited the Constituency Party Office and interacted with volunteer groups at Akrade Presby Church as well as stakeholders, such as former assembly members and executives.

His visit has invigorated the Eastern Region’s base, setting a dynamic tone for the upcoming campaign and reaffirming the region’s crucial role in the NPP’s success.
